Friends and Treachery

I went through the pictures to see what Ellie and Ryan have been up to lately. (I know the spotlight has been shifted a bit). Yes, with three kids days go by with just the basics it seems. But, I realized two things they've been taking advantage of: Enjoying friends before the big move, and Mom being distracted with a new baby.
We've been blessed with wonderful friends in Arizona, and have been trying to spend as much time as we can with them before we move.
Roasting marshmellows in the Mountains with the Griggs and the DeMills
Playing Playdough with Sydney Rolfe
Playing at the park with Addie and Emery DeMill
Having "The girls" over for a pajama party.
Having "the boys" (Matt and Jeff Aston) over for lunch.
Craft days at the park with the Stevens and friends.
Ry and Ellie ask for friends every morning!
It's not real yet that we're moving, and goodbye's will be painful after three years! Without family around, our friends in Arizona have become like family. We will miss them terribly!
As for the conniving, treacherous toddler schemes, I realized how many times I have come in the room after taking care of Trevor to find them doing things like...
Putting every single toy in the front room to make a "castle", or a fort, or a tent, or a swimming pool, or a cave or taking off all the couch covers and coushins and jumping on them, or....
Covering themselves with stamps!
What an adventure life with toddlers is. They keep my on my toes, and make sure I never loose my sense of humor. Right now Ryan is doing his own theme music as he "saves the day" and Ellie is writing her name next to me. I feel very blessed! (and tired :)

Giggles and Smiles to Melt Your Heart

Trevor is such a joy!

He loves to have anyone play with him, and rewards them with giggles and grins!
