July Gone By...

Where has summer gone?

Oh, that's right. I spent my summer spending quantity time with my toilet because I've been really sick this pregnancy.

Although it's felt as if we were in "survival mode" it's been good to look back through pictures and realize we did find time to enjoy summer, each other, and friends in July.

Here's a super long update for those who care to see some things we did in July.

Starting with picnics in the backyard (picture up top).

We really have enjoyed our kids this summer. They are at such fun ages, and we love all the simple moments we have together, making kid piles, reading stories, eating Popsicles...as always we love time we spend as a family most.
Ryan loved being on the Marlin's T-ball team this summer, and it was fun to watch him improve his game. Way to go bud.
Last summer we picked strawberries and made jam, but this summer we got them on sale so Mom wouldn't have to go out in the heat when feeling sick. But, we still have a freezer full of jam, plus some dried fruit too.
When Ryan wants to help in the kitchen he puts a plastic sack on his head because he doesn't have a cool chef hat like Ellie's. I love this kid. :)
We got to watch the Blue Angels in an airshow!
Pretty amazing...and loud.
We had several goodbye parties for members of our church who are moving away. :(
We miss you guys.
We finally got a pass to the
TOLEDO ZOO
and had a fun day there with our good friends and neighbor's
THE RAMA'S
Gotta love these monkeys.
Happy girls.
Happy boys. :)
The umbrellas became weapons, of course.
Me with my good friend Lynne.
I feel so blessed to be your neighbor. :)
Ellie had a date with her dad to Chuckie Cheese.
It's a good thing Ryan's a good kid.
Trevor copies everything he does!
They are becoming such good little buddies, and they are excited to bunk and share a room when the baby comes.
We learned a lot about Michigan history and geode's at the
CRANBROOK SCIENCE CENTER
Oh, and we also learned about dinosaurs, how could I forget these ferocious dinosaurs?
We watched the movie, "Over the Hedge" at the summer dollar movies with our friends the Rigby's and the Cuff's.
It made me hungry...but not for nachos.
Ellie learned to ride her bike without training wheels!!!
We saw the a unicycle show with the Larsen's.
Park days and pumpkins.
1,2,3 little handfulls.
Ryan taking pictures of himself.
Free bowling with the library summer reading program.
Our favorite...playdates with friends!
Especially when it includes a Slip-n-slide.
There's all the big stuff we did in July.
If you're still reading you must really love us.
I'm sure we love you too.
