September 25th, we had a nice day enjoying the beautiful weather and picking (well, mostly eating) raspberries with Daddy Rob who was off work for the day (one of his four days off all month during his internal medicine rotation).
Trevor was in heaven,
and I think we got at least a whole quart
of free raspberries just from what he ate while we were there.
We finally had to keep the containers out of his reach so we could actually fill them up!
Ellie was a great help picking
(when she wasn't dancing or skipping down the rows).
She and Ryan also had fun taking Trevor for rides in the red wagon we were given by one of our awesome neighbors (thanks Angela!).
Ryan got his work ethic from his dad!
He is such a trooper.
He filled up almost two containers by himself!
He's like that with everything. He just gives is his all!
We love this kid's confidence.
We were able to make a few dozen containers of raspberry jam!
I think it will last us until we can pick strawberries and make more jam next summer.
It was quite a tasty outing.
