Everybody loves me!

My brother and sister love me!
IMMENSELY!
My big brother loves to help mom take care of me.

He even made up a song about us that he sings all the time.

"Two boys on the floor, Two boys on the floor!"

And he does a mad superhero dash (complete with theme music) whenever I need a burp-rag.

My Grandma's love me too.
So do my aunts and cousins!
Who wouldn't love me?
My sister says she can't get enough of me!
And, I....love my toes!

Turbo, Fish, Spider, Surprise!

TURBO (a.k.a. Ryan) can do just about anything. With his energy, anybody could! His imagination is running WILD lately! In this picture he got a "burn" so he's putting on my hair clips as a "cast" to help it get better. He also put all the little pieces to the game "sorry" in his nose and ears this morning while getting ready for church. He's a nut! He makes us laugh all the time.
While Ellie was earning her backpack, Ryan has been earning his Betta fish. We got him a week ago. This boy loves animals! At the pet store he decided he'd rather have a bunny, turtle, AND lizard. Luckily I talked him back into his only real choice...the little fishy.
Anyone who knows Ryan could guess the fishes name. It's the same name of his boy-doll, teddy bear, and other two fish that died in Arizona...."Dirt-da." He does share our last name, just to make him an official part of the family. He wanted to name Trevor "dirt-da" too!
This is my favorite thing in the whole world! Ryan's 'SURPRISE'! He loves to surprise me. It's part of his three year old, "I'll do it myself!" thing, but it's great for mom too. Whenever he needs to make his bed, or especially get dressed I ask if he wants help. He says, "I'll surprise you." Then he gets dressed, sneaks into wherever I am, and pop around the corner with his arms out (like so) and SHOUT, "Surprise!" Then of course you have to hug and kiss someone who's smiling at you with your arms out. Try it. Just jump around the corner and surprise someone with your arms out and a cheesy grin. You'll probably get kissed!
This dare-devil is willing to try EVERYTHING! He really wanted to ride the motorcycle, but because without a helmet, I talked him into taking a picture on it. This is him trying out my cousins' "slack line." Once in a while turbo crashes, even if he's in the middle of a tasty, sticky lollipop. He's a hammy handful of pure sweetness!
So this little tidbit is for all ya'll who are family with my (Lolly) arachnophobic warrior stories. I don't care for spiders, but have faced the breath of death to keep my children safe from them. So, I was happy to leave my black widow infested Arizona back yard (I had several close encounters, I always came out the victor luckily) to come to a basement apartment infested with all kinds of spiders. My parents are calling pesticide troops to help, but nevertheless I find spiders in the bathrooms several times a day! Facing up to fears as the protector of my precious littles, I do what needs to be done even at the peril of my own life. Then, the clincher....I come home to find.....a HOBO spider right on my kitchen counter! After all my days in the battlefield, I can face this, right? Right! I put a glass cup on the Hobo, and put my tired angels to bed. Then, facing up to the venomous terror, I take a fuzzy picture for not-very-good evidence, and take him to his watery grave in the toilet bowl. Yet, another victory.

BIG girl's BIG day

This is Ellie on her Preschool Orientation day.
She wanted to sleep in braids the night before so her hair would be wavy.
This is the first day!
She is loving it, and I love how excited she is to tell me "all about it!"
She has to sing me all the songs, and talks about her friends, the art projects, and of course snacks (she takes after her mother in her love of.... eatables.)
She earned and picked out her backpack... of course pink princesses, what else?
This is Ellie we're talking about.
The girl who wants to wear her same favorite white skirt every day, even to bed.
I guess I'm an official mom. A minivan (we bought a Honda Odyssey when we moved up here), three kids, a girl in Preschool, and.....(here's the clincher) a Costco card!
Life comes at ya fast.

Tramp Summer

If you go looking for my kids, you'll probably find them on Grandma Jello's Tramp.

That's were they are, every single day.

They love it, and are learning all kinds of new tricks. Mom loves it because they are sleeping rock solid at night.
Trevor loves watching the action from his "perch."
It's a blast, come on over!

Swingin it at the Cabin

Back in July, our little family enjoyed a weekend at "Jaspen, " Grandpa Jencks little cabin in the woods.
Our two little people loved....
hiking to the "meadow" (they even got to sneak up on a deer....)
playing with the handmade play cabin inside, and the "scoop"
tractor out back, and SWINGIN' IT on Grandpa's swing!

We got to go to the "Brighton Branch" on Sunday, which is currently being held in a large home up here. Talk about a gorgeous view! (Yeah, if you want to talk about, call me...)

Our "baby bear" chunk loved his first stay at the cabin too.

Slam Bang Family Re-Union

Our big ole slam bang Family Reunion!
This is the entire Anderson Family, (the twentieth grandbaby is due in December!)

We spent a day in the mountains at Snowbird. We rode the tram, went on the alpine slide, zip-line, and rock climbed too. It was a blast!
We also had quite the talent show (including a karate routine, jazz pianist and voalist, a tecno/cabiret routine :), tap dance (from yours truly of course), lots of songs, piano, and basketball skills. It was blackmail experience for sure.

We also had an olympic style field day (including getting decorated how you'll look in 40 years with whipped cream), a basketball game for the dads, and mostly games, movies, and hangin' out. It's the best just watching our kids play together!
I have to say, we feel completely blessed to be a part of our family! They rock!
The Princesses........and Ryan.
All the little girls made crowns, and were posing for pictures. Ryan said, "where's my crown?" I chuckled but didn't pay attention. There was one crown left downstairs, so he went and found it and came up to pose with all the princesses.

This is my dad taking all the grandkids on a "lion hunt" just like he use to do for us when we were kids.

Here's to our big, ole, slam bang, crazy, cool family! We love you!
