Now this is my kind of Holiday.
Scrumptious food...and lots of it!
We are grateful for our good friends the Salmon's, who joined us for the gorge.
They brought some fun games over (Blokus and Bang! were the ones we played) and also some Christmas movies for the kids to watch (Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, etc.).
What a chill day! It was so nice, we loved it!
Rob dad used the electric cutting knife that we got for our wedding for the first time.
Way to go honey, I'm so proud of you. :)
After giving our stomachs a moment to digest, it was time for
PIE!
Here are the masterpeices Jenny Salmon and I made the day before Thanksgiving.
(It's a good thing the guys didn't notice that we put a little dry milk in the crust because we thought it was flour...it made it more creamy, right Jen?)
Four adults, four kids...
and FIVE PIES!
Pumpkin, Apple, Apple Peach, Mudd Pie, and Turtle Pumpkin Pie
Yum,
yUm,
YUM!
